Queen's Jubilee in Weston On the Green

The Queen's Jubilee was celebrated by an afternoon of  processions, music, food, and games in the grounds of the Old Mill House, by most kind permission of Pat and John Cavan.

At 2.00 a procession set off from the Village Hall lead by the Jubilee King and Queen designates. They were crowned on arrival at their thrones in the grounds of the Old Mill House.

                              The Procession was headed by Ian White playing tunefully on the clarinet.

On arrival, the crowds observed the investiture

The Jubilee King and Queen installed on the splendor of their thrones

This was followed by the opportunity to picnic in the grounds

Finally the DUCK RACES. The Highlight of the afternoon for some!
